A Face of Awareness

Whew. I just had a lovely channeling session with Adonai about awareness. As suspected, Adonai dumped a lot of extra detail into my head as I typed. But first, I should mention that I'm still being bombarded by wolves and big cats - especially lions. It's so stinkin' hilarious, I swear.

But back to the main topic. Guess what happened during that channel session? I basically came full circle. Uh-huh. In what way? I was brought back to the idea of reincarnation and past lives.

Was not expecting that. Here's an excerpt:

I can see that you are making a bunch of connections here. You are observing the patterns between separation and incarnation. Indeed - one such perspective is that 'pieces' of awareness - what you know as souls - do reincarnate to explore various lifetimes from the same perspective. After all, that piece of awareness - you - are never destroyed. So naturally, it makes sense to you that you would spend your time as a piece of awareness exploring different lives from the same perspective, because, as you have just deduced, it would be extremely limiting if a soul - or piece of awareness - only existed to experience one singular life in an infinite, eternal existence. There is much potential in a piece of awareness.

It does makes sense, I do admit, even if it does bring up a buttload of other questions, such as: what about those several hundred people who all think they're Jesus or Mary M or Cleopatra?

I came to a really lovely conclusion in this session: that life truly is a simple thing - and that we would know it if we all weren't part of the slave labor system. Your only "job" is to be who you are - to be awareness. To observe. But we, as Adonai suggested in the session, are no longer aware of this (ironically) because of our current society.

So touching back on the past life thing... I wonder what it does mean for hundreds of people to believe they were all so-and-so. Because it does make sense that a piece of awareness would take on numerous states of existence. Why would that specific perspective be wasted on only one 'incarnation'? I've heard two accounts from two different people who strongly believe they were once Mary M. They shared their experiences - and what's interesting is that despite those experiences being under completely different circumstances, there were still parallels between them. What does that mean?

I think about Zenoheria... as far as I know, I'm the only one who is aware of this guy and his planet. But what if there actually is someone out there who is aware of Zeno, too? Who believes that he/she was once this arrogant beauty of a man on a world layered with snow? What does that suggest?

Oh, shit. I mean. Crapcakes. I hope this doesn't have anything to do with 'soul groups' and 'soul connections.' The fact that that idea came out of nowhere makes me a bit nervous. Hahaha... ha. But you know... if that really is the truth, then I'll roll with it. Full circle, baby. By now, I've learned to surrender.. to go with it.

It does make me wonder. Would Adonai deliberately create 'separate' groups for specific faces of awareness (or souls)? Heh. If it were a person, I could see it shaping little pieces of itself and going: "These will be in that group... these will be over here... and those - oh, goodness, no. They're going over there." Of course, maybe it's not so much separation as it is distinction - faces of awareness with similar vibrations or perspectives. Ahhhh. Oh Shiva. Lookit. It's all coming together.

Still leaves me with a bunch of questions, which I'm sure will be answered eventually at the perfect time... such as: am I still to assume that this is only human-oriented spirituality, or are inhabitants of Earth able to connect with inhabitants beyond the planet? Let me think about that for a moment. If I were Adonai, would it do me any good to have limited faces of myself interacting with faces beyond Earth? Hmm. Is that a question I can even answer? Still, though. Considering all the spiritual experiences people have had on Earth - many of them had to do with guides, angels, extraterrestrials, ghosts, or other forms of spirit. And you know what's funny? I could never come up with a proper explanation for people seeing ghosts. The idea behind that is actually something Adonai mentioned in our session:

You might wonder: why would the universe need to 'know' itself? If it's the universe, shouldn't it be all-knowing and all-powerful?

Not quite, because we - the universe - can only know that which exists. The same thing applies to you all on Earth. You can't know anger if you've never felt it before. You can't know the unknown unless you've faced it. The universe is no different. That is why we created to begin with - to see how infinite we are... to explore everything our existence has to offer. If we were only creative energy - if we existed in a void, with no planets or other satellites, forever existing in perpetual stillness - we would only know ourselves as we are in that state... just like you only know yourself as you are in the present. You can't speak for your future self until you meet her, much like I - or we - can't speak for our infinite potential until we've reached it.

Shamanism. It's apparently the world's oldest known religion or spiritual practice - believed to date back to the time of Neolithic man. That branch of spirituality is all about spirits. Spirits and seeing things that usually aren't seen. I'm strongly convinced that ancient man was a lot more connected to things than we are. That's kind of a given. You could even say that Neolithic man was the equivalent of any other animal - free of 'filters' that impeded his ability to be aware of his environment. Now, the reason I'm bringing this up is because I'm trying to compare old-world experiences with new-world ones. We have so many filters set up compared to our ancestors. We don't practice awareness in the way that they did. So what were they seeing when it came to their religion? Was seeing 'spirits' as natural to them as seeing anything else?

At least I can understand why gods, goddesses, and so on were born. Awareness is in everything, because everything is the universe... so people who didn't have those filters - who practiced the art of pure awareness - were able to observe all that with incredible ease. The water talked to them as much as people did. So did the air, and the earth, and the sun. Then again, there was nothing but the natural world. These people didn't have technology and fancy gadgets and money and cars and 8-hour daily jobs to distract and desensitize them. They didn't have food that shut down their bodies, nor did they have medicine that did more harm than good. They had themselves and nature - just how it should be.

In comparison, practically everyone in this modern world is desensitized. We seem to be "waking up," though. Slowly returning to the time that was once so perfect - at least in my opinion.

At least that explains my intense connection to Paganism and its branches. You get those occasional bible-thumpers who say: "Worship the Creator, not the creation," but they fail to realize that the creation is just as much the Creator... hm.

I could go on, but once again, I will wait until the information comes to me. This is a huge topic - one that will definitely earn a few more VoA posts.
